Snoqualmie Falls Elopement Photography
Christine and Brandon met through work. She actually was tasked with the task of training him at her job as he was a new employee. They hit it off and soon were flirting back and forth! (Totally a Jim and Pam moment!) They eventually began dating and have been together for four years now! They are seriously so good together, and its hard to picture a world that Christine and Brandon would not find each other!
Brandon proposed last year when Christine was expecting it the least. They were at a local national park. They just went out for a quick hike to enjoy the sunset. Christine wasn't even expecting it, and Brandon went behind her and got down on one knee and PROPOSED TO HER!! She freaked out and was so excited! I mean, who wouldn't be??? Getting proposed to outta the blue?? So cute.
Christine and Brandon wanted to elope in the mountains of Washington. It was important to them that they only have a few of the people that were the most special to them be there to witness the ceremony so they kept the guest list to just each other's immediate families. The ceremony was super special and sweet and they made sure to include Christine's son in such a cute way. He was crying, they were crying, EVERYONE was crying. it was precious.
The ceremony took place at the edge of a gorgeous snoqualmie falls. This waterfall is probably the most know from the cult show "Twin Peaks" and its iconic double falls are so stunning and gorgeous and perfect for an elopement! The fall is one of Washington's largest at 268 feet! The weather had been rainy and gross all week, but on the day of the elopement, the rain paused and it was perfectly clear. We could even see the mountains when we were driving towards them! After the ceremony, we hiked to the bottom of the falls and got to play around and experience the falls from a vantage point that few get to. The snoqualmie people believe that the falls are the place where Heaven and Earth connect and the mists are SERIOUSLY magical.
The falls are such a stunning place to go for your elopement, and Christine and Brandon gawked at the views and popped some champagne to celebrate!! Afterwards, we all went back to the Salish Lodge and enjoyed some dinner and ate the freaking cake. Best day ever.
