Mt Rainier Backyard Elopement Photographer
Annie + Vito decided to have an intimate wedding at their house under the shadow of Mount Rainier. All of their most important moments have happened at this cute farmhouse. Vito proposed last year at this house after they had recently purchased it together. Then, a few month later, they had their first kid together AT THIS HOUSE. And now, this summer, they are tying the knot, in their own backyard.
It was a gorgeous day when I arrived. Perfect blue sky and white puffy clouds, BUT THEN, thunder struck and it decided to POUR DOWN RAIN. And it proceeded to dump for the next hour. Annie was into it though, and wanted to go ahead and take the pictures and do the ceremony in the beautiful rain! It did let up, right before the first look, and Annie walked to meet her groom through the field! When she saw him, all of those "we're getting married" feels hit her, and she couldn't help crying a little because YOU KNOW.
So these cuties met last year. Annie was that cute barista, working at a drive thru coffeeshop in Tacoma. Vita was the customer that came through everyday for his daily coffee and chat with said cute barista. Obviously he had a crush on her, (because who wouldn't?!) and eventually he got to know her enough that he went out with her and her friends. They instantly felt a connection, and soon the sparks were flying between these two. Vito proposed to Annie back in June. He proposed to her outside of their new house!
Annie and Vito got married in the rain in their yard. The downpour didn't dampen their spirits though, and they were so stoked to be GETTING MARRIED! Even though they did a first look, Vito still stared at her in awe like it was the first time seeing her all day. (BECAUSE, the reason why the "walking down the aisle" moment is so important isn't because she looks so pretty in the white dress, its BECAUSE you're freaking GETTING MARRIED. RIGHT NOW. ITS HAPPENING.)
Their ceremony was short and sweet, and the two exchanged heartfelt vows while the rain splashed around them. Everyone cheered their heads off when they finally kissed. I think its because that everyone knew how much Annie and Vito were supposed to be together. They're just soulmates.
Annie and Vito had such a special day and it was so much fun to celebrate with them! They really have the sweetest story, and I'm so excited that they are finally MARRIED!!
