Gold Creek Pond Trail Snoqualmie Pass Engagement Photographer

I hung out with Kristina and David at Gold Creek Pond Trail up on Snoqualmie Pass! This place is so gorgeous. A big frozen lake, covered in ice and snow, and surrounded by huge mountains. Everything was covered in soft snow, but the sun was shining brightly which saved us a little. Kristina fulfilled my dream of shooting a beautiful woman in a caramel-colored coat, which I greatly appreciated. (I would have appreciated being paid in caramel-colored coats in exchange for the shoot as well!) Check out how much fun we had!

So Kristina and David met three years ago. Kristina had been on a 3 month trip to South Africa, and it was her last day there. She ran into some girls at the airport that happened to be going on a missions trip to South Africa as well! The girls hit it off, and one of the girls posted a pic of the three of them on Instagram. 

The VERY NEXT DAY David checked his Instagram feed and noticed that his sister had posted a pic with a (super pretty!) girl that he didn’t know from her trip to Africa. Thinking nothing of it, he headed to Starbucks to grab coffee before work. While waiting for his drink, who did he see but the EXACT GIRL he had just seen in his instagram feed! He knew he must be crazy but she looked so much like the girl in the picture that he HAD to check! He pulled out his phone and typed in his sisters name to go to her feed. He clicked on the picture and - YEP. It was her! It had to be! 

But he had to be sure. He went up to her and politely introduced himself, and then proceeded to ask if she had been in Africa the day before and taken a picture with his sister. She was completely shocked that someone had recognized her from instagram, but admitted that it was her in the picture and that she HAD met his sister the day before. It was such an amazing coincidence that David asked if they could drink their coffee together and chat about her trip. She agreed, and the two have been inseparable ever since! 

Kristina and David ran around snoqualmie pass with me. It was desperately cold, despite the bright sunshine, and they snuggled together and ran around to keep warm. These guys are pretty much the cutest ever, and it was so much fun exploring Gold Creek Pond Trail with them!
