Kauai Engagement Photographer Spouting Horn
I hung out with these guys during my trip to Kauai. We connected through la internet, like so many other of my clients, and decided to have an adventure together while I was on the island! They said that they knew some secret locations, and I was SO psyched to explore with them! They've both lived on Kauai, and Hawaii in general, for several years now, and are basically experts on all of the cool secret spots! So during my trip to Kauai, the weather SUCKED. Like DOWNPOUR. Like not-even-able-to-be-outside downpour. But on this day. This, magical, wonderful, blessed day, the weather was PERFECT. Hashtag blessed, y'all!
So I met Kat and Mark at the end of this driveway. And I was like "okay." and then they were like "We're going to jump this fence" and I was like "I'm downnnnn". So over the fence we went! And onto another driveway? Yes, another driveway. Whose house are we trespassing on? Turns out it was Queen's. Like, back in the day. So that was cool. "Hey Queen, don't mind us, we just out here taking sexy photos and stuff!"
And then we had to go through another fence. And through a jungle. Like full on jungle. Actually, as we were walking into the jungle, we saw a girl, COVERED in blood walking towards us. Sort of horror movie type of scene. And I was like " are you okay?!" and she said she was FINE. While her leg was LITERALLY covered in blood. Okay sis, hope you're okay.
So we finally make it down to the beach. And this place was freaking gorgeous! No wonder the queen wanted to live here! The beach was also DESERTED, which was awesome, and we got to hang out on the beach without any onlookers! The dream!
So Kat and Mark met at work. They both work at the same restaurant. And when they met, Mark didn't really like Kat. But, as time went on, they ended up getting along really well and discovered that they're basically the same person! They fell in love, and have been living the dream in paradise ever since! I'm so jealous of them, getting to live on this fricken beautiful island, and getting to see sunsets like this every night! I would kill for that!
Kat is actually from Seattle like me so she totally understood why I was EATING this sunshine up!
