Lake Crescent Elopement Photographer
Angela and Nick chose Nature bridge on Lake Crescent in the Olympic Peninsula to have their elopement at. The mountains are super special to them, and they knew that this beautiful place was where they had to get married at. Nature bridge is located near Port Angeles, and sits right on the edge of beautiful Crescent Lake. The day of their elopement was super bright and sunny, and I was actually way too warm in my double layers! So they really lucked out on the weather!
Nick proposed to Angela on a hike last year. They were doing their usual routine, hiking with their friends and their dog. They always hike on this trail, so Angela was really confused when Nick wanted to stop and take a picture! She reluctantly agreed, and their friend grabbed their camera. After one shot, Nick dropped to one knee and proposed. She was SHOCKED, but obviously said yes.
Angela’s mom helped her get ready, and helped her put on her Grandma’s pearls. It was such a special touch, and I love how meaningful her wedding day jewelry was. She also wore a gorgeous turquoise bracelet from her family’s collection- so pretty!
Angela obviously had to show Nick the WHOLE view by doing a 360 jump. Brides wearing heels wouldn’t be able to attempt this trick, so future brides take note: If you’re going to want to do a 360 jump for your mans at your first look, you’re gonna have to wear FLAT shoes! Leave those heels at home, ladies! You’re gonna want to be doing those 360 jumps ALL DAY. Maybe. Idk. You do you.
Both of Angela’s parents walked her down the '“aisle”. They both wiped tears as they stood next to their daughter, and handed her off to Nick. I love the cute cardigan that Angela wore for the ceremony, and it was such a cute way to add variety to her outfit! Plus super warm and cozy!
When the couple was introduced for the first time, all of their family and friends raised a glass of champagne towards them and toasted the newly married couple! It was such a sweet show of support, and Angel and Nick cheered and laughed. Everyone cheered as they skipped down the aisle.
