Diamond Beach Engagement Session With Van Life Couple Photographer
Stazia + Colby are the cutest humans. We met up in Iceland on Diamond beach in iceland for our shoot! Stazia and Colby met long ago in college at the University of Utah. One of her friends ran into Colby's fraternity, and she ran after him to retrieve him. Just like a movie, leaning against a pool table with a girl on each side, was Colby. She HAD to say something to him (even though she says she is never that brave), so she ran up to him and grabbed his arm. "I like your tattoos. My dad does tattoos." He was pretty speechless, a beautiful, random girl coming up to him out of the blue like that, and then Stazia ran back out of the house in pursuit of her friend. Colby was left stunned and smitten. He immediately called her friend, (who she happened to be in the car with!) to find out who she was! He told Colby who she was and they connected on facebook shortly after! He asked her to go on a hike with his dog for their first date, and they were hooked on each other after that!
Stazia loves that Colby is the most caring person she has ever met and he loves how fearless she is. She loves how he cares for other people, animals and the planet, and he loves how much of a hippy she is! Colby says that Stazia showed him what life was really about, and that he was lost before he met her! Together they travel the world, filming their adventures! (Check out their channel here!) They love making beautiful content together and showing the world what they are experiencing! They even made a vlog about their iceland adventure! Stazia says that the best thing about Iceland was the HORSES (which i totally agree with!), and they loved stopping to pet them every few minutes!
They also agree that the waterfalls are the most incredible thing about the country, and how great it is that they are so frequently found! Their favorite waterfall was Gogafoss! Stazia says that the best moment of their trip was standing in front of the waterfall with her eyes closed, just letting the water drops fall on her face.
These guys really made the most of their iceland adventure; snorkeling in the Silfra, surviving windy nights in their van, and eating more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches than they can count!
