PNW Elopement in the Forest
Lyra and Tyler met one night at a party. There was an immediate connection, and they talked to each other all night! They both enjoyed meeting each other, and luckily enough, they met several more times at different get togethers. Each time they met was better than the time before, and they began dating shortly after! She loved his cute smile and his patience, and he of course, loved her beautiful smile and the way she lights up a room. Everyone who knows them says that they are the BEST people and that they deserve each other. Lyra says that she really knew he was the one when she saw how calm and patient he was with her sister's kids! He knew that he found the one when Lyra was there for him during a really tough time. One of his close friends passed away, and Lyra became his rock during that time. After that, they were inseparable. Together they really value family, friends, and trying to do their best in a crazy world. I love the fact that they have two ADORABLE kitties who are their practice children. It's definitely selfish, but I wish they could have brought the cats to the wedding so i could pet them!
Lyra and Tyler got married on a GORGEOUS day in the forest. They wanted their special day to just include those closest to them and to be in the woods. They had the ceremony on a small island, and Lyra's dad walked her across a bridge to the alter. They had all of their family hold bells and ring them during the ceremony to keep the evil spirits at bay. Lyra and Tyler actually bought a bunch of random bells from goodwill and then painted them all to be unique for each of their family member to ring! During the ceremony, they also had a hand-fasting ceremony, where their hands were tied together with a special cord that Lyra actually made herself!! Lyra's gorgeous blush dress sparkled in the sun, and they both spoke heart-felt vows to each other. Afterwards, everyone walked back across the bridge and they hung out by a bonfire next to the lake! Everyone roasted marshmallows and an ice cream truck came to make, yes, MAKE, everyone their own personal kind of icecream! Lyra and Tyler had the best day, and it was such a joy to capture their lovely, laid-back day!
