Yosemite Adventure-Yosemite Adventure Wedding Photographer

Yosemite was so good for my soul. I mean, something about mountains really PEAK my interest for some reason. I had never been to Yosemite before, and was NOT prepared for its level of gorgeousness. My jaw LITERALLY dropped when we drove in the entrance and saw half dome at the end of the canyon. Eventually I stopped saying "Look at that!" because EVERYTHING was worth looking at, and freaking waterfalls were just popping up all over the place. (Obviously I sot them all out in my trip!) Something about being in a place that is so over-whelmingly gorgeous makes you feel so small, and we spent the first day wandering around the park taking it all in. 

The next day we went on a hike to Vernal falls. This hike is AMAZING! You are literally climbing alongside of the waterfall for the last part of the hike, and the mist is spraying you, which is nice because its pretty steep and we'd be sweaty without that spray! There's tons of cute views along the way to the falls, and you are able to climb on TOP of the falls at the end of the hike! Jake was scared to climb as close to the falls as we did, but there was an elderly asian man doing the same climb as us so I knew we were fine! 

The next day, we went to the lower Yosemite falls. Super easy hike and you can go RIGHT up into the falls. They are so epic to see from across the valley, but the closeup view from the hike is unbeatable. 

Honestly, the best part of Yosemite is walk through the valley, looking up at the huge rock formations towering around you. We spent the majority of our time wandering from valley to valley and enjoying the different views of the rocks from below!
