Austria Hintersee Engagement Photographer
Carmen and Kelvin met a long time ago in school! They hit it off and began dating soon after! They had so much in common, that the connection was immediate. They dated for 6 years and actually got married last year! For their first anniversary, they decided to take a trip to Europe! They were going to check out Germany and Austria, and originally wanted to capture some memories with pictures in Munich. When I heard that they were going to Austria as well, I knew that we had to shoot there instead! I am in LOOOOOVE with Austria, and know so many gorgeous places there also. They were going to be staying near Salzburg and Hallstatt, and so we decided to shoot at the beautiful lake of Hintersee. The day that we went to the lake, it was POURING down rain! I actually love rain, but this was a liiiiiitle intense. (so intense that one of my cameras up and quit!) But we still had so much fun running around in the rain and enjoying the gorgeous lake! There weren't very many people there because of the rain, and we basically had the lake to ourselves!
I freaking love Austria and have been there so many times over the last couple of years. The alps, the lakes, and allllll of the beautiful views are so crazy beautiful, and its my favorite country to drive through! There are so many crazy tunnels that you drive through when you drive through the country and some take up to 15 minutes to drive through! Do NOT try to hold your breath when driving through these tunnels lol. Its only a LITTLE bit scary going through the dark for what seems like forever haha but the fact that there's no shoulder on the side of the road in the tunnels is a LOT scary!
There were so many ducks swimming around in the lake while we were shooting, and they were always coming up to us begging for food! They were so freaking cute and I wish that we had some snacks to share with them! Healthy snacks. Not bread. That's...bad, I think. I've definitely read that somewhere. What's healthy for ducks to eat? Ok just googled. Salad. There. I wish we had some SALAD to share with those cute duckos. They deserved that.
